Decorative Artist
The artist, (Frank) Julious Fisher, born March 7, 1884 in Lima, Ohio arrived in Los Angeles, Califorina around 1910. He established his decorative art business in Los Angeles by 1912. Relocating to Long Beach in 1919 his business contined to thrive there until the mid 1950's.
Mr. Fisher's art was not only limited to stenciling, but also included easel art and wood carving.
He taught scenic oil and watercolor painting and wood carving. In his later years he lived in Mariposa and also the Palm Springs area.
His art adorns many theaters, churches, homes, public and commerial buildings throughout California.
